Rauwolfia (Sarpagandha) -
Rauwolfia (Sarpagandha) is a pungent smelling herb, which is a potent anti-hypertensive. Its Sanskrit name, Sarpagandha, literally translates to 'smells like a serpent'. Reserpine, an active compound found in Rauwolfia, renders the herb its antihypertensive property. Its anti-hypertensive activity is attributed to a decrease in peripheral resistance and the resulting decrease in cardiac output.

Serpina Himalaya dosage
1-2 tablets twice a day before meals as needed. When we feel a stable effect (after about 10 days), the dose is gradually reduced to 1 or 1/2 tablet 2 times a day. The basic treatment is 2 packages. To achieve a permanent therapeutic effect in hypertension, we use Serpina for 12 weeks. Consultation with a doctor is necessary to find the right dose that best suits you.
