The cardiac tonic
Arjunin is a comprehensive cardioprotective. Arjunin has antianginal, hypolipidemic and antioxidant action. In double blind placebo controlled trial, the main ingredient of Arjunin i.e. Terminalia Arjuna exhibited antianginal effects similar to that of isosorbide mononitrate. Boerhaavia diffusa is antihyperlipidemic, Nardostachys jatamansi is antilipid peroxidative, Vitis vinifera is cardioprotective and Mangifera indica is antioxidant. Arjunin exhibits cardioprotective activity by virtue of its hypolipidemic, diuretic, anxiolytic and antioxidant properties.

Arjun (Terminalia arjuna) 600 mg.
Punarnava (Boerhaavia diffusa) 150 mg.
Surwari Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) 60 mg.
Tamalpatra (Cinnamomum iners) 30 mg.
Guggulu shuddha (Purified Balsamodendron mukul) 30 mg.
Shilajit shuddha (Purified asphaltum) 30 mg.
Ela (Elettaria cardamomum) 15 mg.
Jatamansi (Nardostachys jatamansi) 15 mg.
Rumimastagi (Pistacia lentiscus) 15 mg.
1-2 capsules 3 times a day, to be taken with warm water before meal.
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine. Over-dosage may cause diarrhoea.
It is not suitable for people with IBS – D, loose motions, diarrhoea and dysentery.
It should be taken under medical supervision. Store in a cool dry place, in an air tight container.
