The menstrual cycle is regulated by the complex interaction of female hormons that control the start of period during puberity, the rhythms and the duration of menstrual cycles.

Disturbances in hormone level may lead to abnormal menstrual flow, which may be either heavy or too light, may occur too often or last too long, or may be irregular.

The hormon balance may lead to problems like Dysmenorrhea, Amenorrhea and Polymenorrhea. 

Dysmenorrhea is the name of the problem, when severe and frequent period cramps and period pain during the manstruation. Dysmenorrhea is called  primary, when it exists from the beginning of periods, or called secondary, when it is due to an underlying condition.

Amenorrhea is an abnormal absence of menstruation.

Polymenorrhea describes a menstrual cycle that is shorter than 21 days. A normal menstrual cycle is between 24 and 38 days long. Polymenorrhea is just one form of abnormal uterine bleeding.

Problems unsloved with mentruation cycle, may affect fertility of a woman at the later stage.

M2-Tone Charak is a comprehensive formulation for regulating the menstrual cycle and treating the related symptoms like period pain, period cramps, laziness and stress. 

M2-Tone Charak contains potent pro-estrogenic agents like Ashoka (Saraca indica) and Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa) which correct the hormonal imbalance and improve ovarian functions. It maintains nutritional balance and improves uterine health, restores emotional balance by relieving anxiety and tension with its mild tranquilizing agents like Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) and Jatamansi (Nardostachys jatamansi), Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) and Deodaru (Cedrus deodara). Nagakeshar (Mesua ferrea) improves the endocrinal function and restores hormonal balance. Shuddha kasis is a haematinic.

Dosage
